Network Development Plan 2030 (2019)

System change through Wind Energy at Sea Act (WindSeeG)

Further information on the changes introduced by the WindSeeG can be found here in an extract from O-NDP 2030, version 2017 (in German):

On 2 February 2019 the transmission system operators (TSOs) 50Hertz, Amprion, TenneT and TransnetBW, submitted the first draft of the Network Development Plan (NDP) 2030, Version 2019 and published it on netzentwicklungsplan.de.

This marked the start of a four-week public consultation process in which every citizen was able to submit their comments on the NDP online, by email or in writing until March 4, 2019. The comments were taken into account for the second draft of the NDP. The second draft of the NDP was published on 15 April and submitted to the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA).

In the further process, the BNetzA submitted the second draft together with the environmental report for public consultation again from 6 August to 16 October 2019. Taking into account the results of this public consultation period, the BNetzA approved the NDP 2030 (2019) on 20 December 2019.
